I became a mom at the young age of 18, and for decades, raising my four children was my entire world and more. Motherhood wasn’t just something I did; it was who I was. When my youngest left home this past September, I found myself in unfamiliar territory, wondering what my purpose looked like after spending so many years putting my family first every step of the way. Then life placed an unexpected opportunity in front of me.
A beauty salon came into my life at exactly the right moment, and I decided to take a leap of faith. What started as a new venture quickly became a rediscovery of myself. Through creativity, connection, struggle, and a lot of heart, I found a renewed sense of purpose for myself. My salon is more than a business; it’s my passion, my new baby, and a space where I’ve built a chosen family filled with support, laughter, and empowerment. I treat it with the same love and care I’ve always given my family, and my goal is to make every person who walks through those doors feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. Through it all, I’m grounded by the love around me - a supportive husband by my side, kids from afar, and a home filled with the joy and chaos of my dogs. They remind me every day how full life still is, even in a new chapter of confusion and loss of purpose. Today, I’m thriving, grateful for the journey that brought me here. From the second I’ve taken ownership of this salon, I’ve poured my heart into it and will continue to do so. I couldn’t do this without my salon family, and every guest who steps inside, creating a space rooted in warmth, connection, and love.
